Guys yesterday on my way home from the bash my brake lights suddenly didnt work and i checked the fuse and it was blown. I put another one in and same thing, as soon as I tap the brake it blows, all the other lights work , today i followed the brake lines and everything seems to be ok, the grounds are good and everything.. any ideas whats going on , ive gone through like 10 fuses and I dont wanna waste anymore..

You obviously have a short somewhere in the brake circuit. You'll have to trace wires from the brake switch to the lights all the way, and see if there's a break anywhere, or something touching something else...

Best done with a multimeter.. you're tracing the white wire. It goes from the brake light switch (orange wire in, white wire out) splits off behind the dash and goes to the turn signal switch, and to the cruise control module as well (if you have cruise). The turn signal switch is an input, and it comes out as yellow and green (after the switch, those two wires run to the left and right taillights, respectively).

Check the connections at the light bulbs. I had a wire come out of the connector once and did this.

thanks for the info guys but i just traced all the wireing john and theres nothing outta place as for the buld houseings the wires are all secure to ... so im outta options i guess... theres gotta be something simple im just missed .. ive been worknig on this for 7 hours today and nothing, im giving up for now

please messege meif you find anythign and ill besure to send you a messege if i find anything,i did all these steps, i found that the plugs where my taillights plug in the wires are loose in there but i still have no blinkers or tail lights... but now i have parking lights
