Is Installing a car audio battery in the trunk that simple as grounding the wire from the negative terminal and connecting the the wire to the positive terminal?
Yes, but fuse it, and use a large power wire.
And if the the battery isn't sealed you need to vent the trunk.
I have 2 Stinger SPV70's, one behind each front seat in the floor, screwed down as well. Monster 400 series 1/0 from battery in front to the battery bank, wired in parallel obviously. Both batteries grounded on the exhaust tunnel after using the dremel to grind her clean.
Batteries in the cabin.... You're a moron.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Don't u have to use a battery isolater?
Battery isolator just makes it so that your engine only cranks from your main battery.
It's good to have one.

Anchored and secured properly. Sealed battery so it doesn't give off any gases when charging. Won't fit in my trunk without building something fairly intricate that I'm not capable of.
How is that stupid?
