So I bought a 4 door 01 cavvy. I blew a door speaker and just attempted to install a set of pioneer 6x9 and 6" 4 ohm 230 watt max speakers i cut the factory connector and hooked up a speaker and turned on the stereo but all I get is a humm it does the same thing with the stock speakers now too......I'm. Running a 50 watt x 4 kenwood head unit.
I swear this car is gonna make me smoke pot!!!

Were you playing music? hah... check all your connections, and make sure your wires are hooked up the right way... if you had sound before then there is no reason for there to not be sound... Look over what you've done...

Work so I preped the rest of the car to remove the speakers then drove to the circle k to get a drink when I got home I I hooked up a speaker on a whim and the damn thing worked what a trip
