Quick question, my car claims to have a factory remote starter. I've checked ways to use this starter but my key fob doesn't seem to match up with what people claim it should say on it. What do I do? When I say my car claims to have one, it says on the plastic piece underneath the valve cover, that it is equipped with a remote starter.
Car is a 2003 Sunfire 4 door.
Cheers,
Artie.
picture of said sticker? chances are it's aftermarket.

Its a aftermarket remote starter, that you don't have a remote for.
I'll post a picture later on tonight, another thing. When I turn my speed volume control off... it's still consistently working. When I put an aftermarket H/U will this be taken care of?

The option of where you drive faster the volume will go up with the speed...
Sorry if this doesn't work/if it does that it is too big I'm doing this from my tablet.
not a "factory" remote start. i may be wrong but i dont think they ever came with it from the factory. i have seen this sticker on many cars that have aftermarket remotes starts. im sure the past owner just misplaced the remote.
Definitely aftermarket. You can hope the previous owner just lost the remote and you might be able to find a shop to check it out and program a new one for you. But they also might have completely uninstalled it before selling the car.
