I know its like a broken record, but i'm looking to move my aftermarket headunit from my cavy i just wrecked, into my new cav, which is an 04 that has the factory radio at the moment...
now I know there are cheaper chime adapters and etc.. but what is going to be the best buy for the money and best quality, and most like stock? i'm really just asking opinions at this point, don't plan to swap it here for a little while still..
Have a nice day.
Any ideas/opinions? Looking for the best quality adapter for the price. Thinking of the metra axxcess kit, Wondering what kit is better though, the kit that has its own speaker or the one that uses the left front speaker like stock?
Have a nice day.
I use this one. I have it installed with my Clarion NX702 and I love it. It keeps all the factory features. Even activates the alarm if you unplug my head unit. Also makes the led on my head unit flash when the alarm is activated. Pretty neat little thing. Only complaint is the door chime is loud even mounted in the dash. So if you get it feel free to mount it in the trunk or under the carpet lol, just kidding .

I used the Scosche GM2000, it's the cheapest I've found that will keep the chimes.
If GM only knew how great a 3400 powered Sunfire is...
Will, I believe the one I posted and the one you posted are the same just rebranded.

From what i read the scosche kit goes bad in a few months to a year.. metra is its own brand and they have good reviews. I was looking at that one or the other metra model that uses the door speaker like factory vs a built in speaker.
Have a nice day.
I use Jetta brand harness adapters every chance I get. Nuff said
