Just spend the last hour trying to look up and figure out why my gauge cluster is how would i say restarting. It happens randomly some times doesn't happen for weeks or a few days but acts like it just turn on the car. All gauges drop to 0 then goes back to normal has been happening for the last two years and probably before i had the car. wondering i did replace it because of the gauges sticking in the last cluster. Just went to the junk yard and got a different one and whala gauges work now the cluster restarts randomly and cant figure it out. so if anyone can provide me with a link to the thread id greatly appreciate it.

So the new cluster and the old cluster both did this? If so.. it's a wiring issue to the cluster... or could even be a worn ignition switch, the bulb test wire might be getting an intermittent connection. Try wiggling the key around and see if it reproduces it.
