Quick question about the stock alarm on a cavalier 2004 ls sport.

My car was in an accident a few years ago and I forgot to pull the old auto lock off the door when I put in the new one. If I want to reconnect the alarm to the door what parts am I missing?

I'm guessing you used a door with manual lock mechanism? I had the same issue once. I tried to swap over the power lock mechanism (it's integrated with the latch assembly) and it was a major pain in the butt to get the rods in place again. I would use a universal door lock actuator if I were you.. I've used them to install power locks on two sedans now (so, 8 times!) and they're really easy to install and wire up. Pretty cheap on Ebay too...
