Honestly love the premier line from Pioneer. Alpine is good too but a lil more pricey

It really depends on what you want or need from the headunit. You can get a simple AM/FM/CD/MP3 deck of great quality for around $120.00. But if you need more outputs and/or features the prices increase accordingly.

I'm a very long time Alpine user and they still offer wonderful sounding stuff. However, it is now made in China and I'm not convinced it last as long as the old stuff that was made in Japan.

Im using a kenwood KDC 210-U. bout 90$ it works well for what its worth. hope you like orange tho. fits my cars color scheme but it can be an eyesore.
