I bought a glo face for my HVAC panel, and installed it. I connected the power leads from the inverter to the wires from the bulbs behind the old panel, and now, my interior lamps won't turn off when i take the key out of the ignition and get out of the car. I have the fuse out right now, so it doesn't kill my battery, but with the fuse out, my radio doesn.t work. I know i've done something wrong here, but can anyone tell me if there is a way to get these lamps to function correctly again?
Ugh. Wrong section. I fail at the internet.
I would say it's your door 'plungers,' the little black switches between your front fender and your door that sense when the door is closed.
You could stick something to your door panel so it presses the switch in more until you can find another switch.
Oh, this is very old post,
you could try buying new lamps and hvac (https://www.mrosupply.com/)
