Hey guys,

So the owner before me cut the factory harness to wire in an aftermarket deck. I have a 2001 cavi 4 door.
Everything is wired in except for a grey wire, a purple wire, and a thinner black wire.
The black is just a ground i believe so that doesn't matter. I believe as it has the thicker main ground connected already.

The grey wire is for illumination? but when i connect 12v to it it just lights up the dash lights just like when the switch is on?

The purple goes to a control module? im guessing for the door chime?

Any ideas on how these should be connected properly?
Should i just buy a factory piggy tail and install a wiring kit like how it should of been done?
