So i have most of my hometheather set up now I just need a subwoofer
heres what i have so far
reciever
front speakers
and then my 2 center channel speakers are some 6 1/2 RCA bookshelf speakers
and my surround sound speakers are the same, but im looking at some infinites for the surround and bose for the centers, but for now it works

Cd changer

dvd player

so the only thing that I need right now is the subwoofer, im looking in about the 200-300 dollar range with a lot of power.
i was looking at this one...subwoofer but my best buy hookup can nolonger hook me up with her discount..

My question again, is does any one have a good subwoofer that sounds good for about the 200-300 dollar range with a lot of power??

thanks in advance
matt

Shouldn't this be in the "off topic" forum? Not trying to sound rude, but this is more of a car audio forum. I'd help, but I don't know chit about home audio. Whatever you do, don't listen to the people in the electronics stores, that's all I can tell you.

have you ever had a home audio sub before? you don't really need lots of watts,
i live in a apartment building and my Sony 80w 8" sub pounds the crap out of my living
room, 200-300 watts would be insane

hmmm... but to the question Klipsch in good, Quest in very good for the money
hope that helps

i work at circuit city in the hometheater department.
the best one int the price range you are looking at is
going to be a velodyne. You can get the non-digital
10" or 12" for about that price. They pound hard.
good for movies and music.

Well its still audio and electronics?

But id go with infinity or JVC Wood cone.

Fact 1:

This post may contain misspellings, grammatical errors, disorganized sentence
structure, or may entirely lack a coherent theme. These elements are natural
to my process of writing, and will only add to the overall beauty of the post.

Fact 2:

“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that’s even remotely
true.
