rockford makes better amps then kicker and i run kicker subs with a rockford amp and they pound
my kx600.1 is great... the sx series is better tho
I have 2 KX600.1s and a KX550.2. I've had just the opposite experiance as jbodycav lol, I really like my Kicker amps and my Rockford speakers. Haven't had any experiance with the SX line, but my guess is that they'd be better, or at least have more control on em since they're digital.

x2
got proof that they do? didn't think so
Kicker amps are great equipment. In my opinion, they're way overpriced, and they look tacky, but the guts of the amp are great. Personally, I'd go with MTX. They're 90% of the product kicker is, at a fraction of the price.

basically, i will be using a kicker 12" L7 and cant decide between the sx1250.1 and sx700.4
or the rockford 8002 and 8004.

u must have learned this through extensive study of both products and both companies doing studes of product failure power output, build quality, performance results thru competiton etc. or are you just saying that cause u happen to like rockford.
both are good brands, in head to head competitons between each othere both have come out on top time and time again. even in reviews kicker could win on one review and then rockford could win the next. rockford has stepped up their game with this years equpment wich is good because their quality had dropped off over the last several years. just sit down with a spec sheet of each amp and see wich one has the most features u want. power wise, the diffrence between them is probalby going to be negligable. so its going to come down to built in features, looks, and price

I have a Kicker DX350. Great amp. It did have a minor internal soldering problem, but it was fixed under the Kicker three year warranty. The Kicker dealer who fixed it said it was pry from the road and bass vibrations, and was nothing major.
I also talked to the dealer about new Kicker amps. I think he mentioned that they are built overseas now, with cheaper internal components, but they are built better then then when they were built in the US. Sound cleaner also. Endcaps are plastic now. Mine are the aluminum.
