Not sure if this has posted before, but I searched and couldn't find what I was looking for, if you could help me out I'd appreciate it.
Few things:
I'm running A Pioneer 4700 mp3/cd player that puts out 50x4 Watts rms.
In the panels I have 80W Pioneer 3-way 6.5s
Rear deck I have 220W Pioneer 3-way 6x9s
I plan on having a sub soon enough.
Running Front Image Enhancing at 250(full), whatever that means
I really want sounds quality, I plan on putting two speakers in the center console, under the head unit, pointing at the driver and passenger seat and wire them to the appropriate left and right output, as my HU doesn't have center output, and I plan on doing some DVD stuff later on.
Now, I'm on a really tight budget, so I was wandering about amping the front speakers. Not much cash, so I want to be as low as I can. I'm wandering if there is like, a peak, you know, lets say, 1-200W, you never stop improving, but once you hit 200+ it's a very subtle change. That's probably unrealistic, but for all I know, is true, and thus I'm asking the gurus here.
Also, any other tips on improving sound quality would be appreciated;
Thanks.

The more money you put into your system, the better the quality, however, my brother ran his front two speakers bridged off of his head unit, and his back two speakers via 200 w amp....not sure what speakers he had, but it sounded great...plus, I like tweeters, just sounds really good to me and makes a huge difference....they dont take that much wattage to run and they are fairly cheap....
dynamat or equivalent. makes a world of difference

More speakers isn't always better, and if it's a good "SQ' system you shouldn't have to mess with the EQ or "Image Enhancer" stuff. ....
Spend the money you would on speakers in the console on a good amp for your door speakers. Mounting speakers in the console pointed at the listener is going to do more harm than good without the proper crossover and timing components. You're only as good as your weakest component, so don't cheap out on a good front amp, or you're going to notice it.
ditch the speaker in the center console. get a good amp for your door speakers. amp them. your amp power is going to be based off of how much power your speakers can handle. dont amp the rear 6x9's. id honestly tell u to ditch the coaxials in front and get a quality componet set, but since your budge its tight i wont. work on aiming the speakers in the door back and towards the listener. or better yet, build some kickpanels for them. work on getting yoru front speakers to play as low as possible without distorting, and then crossover your sub from that point and below. fix any rattles or vibrations, foam and door weatherstriping can be bought for a few bucks, and put between panels to keep them from vibrating, this is a cheap way of fixing allot of rattles. for bigger panels that rattle use sound damping sheets.

My speakers are 3-way one piece components, isn't that just as good?

u mean coaxials wich arnt anything like componest. componets are seperate speakers that come with a seperate crossover built to the speakers specs, generally the speakers are made of better materials and have allot better r&d the best coaxials will barely sound as good as mid priced componet speakers.(with a very few exceptions of course)

Listen to Jason, he knows what he's talking about.
