02 & 03+ ecotec fuel rail differences
Thursday, February 09, 2006 2:36 PM
I am looking at getting another cavalier and I will be putting a hahn kit on it. What is the difference between the 02 and the 03+ eco fuel rail and what will I have to buy to run the hahn kit on an 02 if I get one.

the major differences are the way the injectors mount and the fuel pressure regulator.

it is very esy to swap the 02 to 03 rails and injectors. ask rodimus prime...he did it but i know he had a little trouble with it.

If I tell Hahn that I have a '02 when I buy the kit will he send me the right stuff for a '02 or will I have to swap to 03 rail?

i didnt have any trouble installing it, its actually like a half hour job, however theres some question as to if the 02 PCM can properly run the Delphi style injectors on both my oem 03 injectors and the gm supercharger for the 2.4 310cc injectors I have a cold start problem and there is a difference in resistor ohm by 0.5

Is there any reason I shouldn't just get the injectors for the 02 fuel rail and use them with the kit?

that doesnt work, they are different lengths use an 03 rail you need delphi style, use 02 you need bosch style
