Well lately ive been seaching around for places to buy a turbo. I am wondering where you bought your turbo from, how much it costed, how good it is, and how the service was.

1st one blew up within a block, took almost a month and a half to get a replacement, very poor service. He would continually tell me it was sent out, but when I finally threatened legal action, he shipped it 2 days later.
2nd one has been holding up...

Okay,www.spoolinperformance.com I purchased mine from. I received it in 2 days. However, I received the wrong turbo. Not do to Phil(the owner of Spoolin), but from his supplier, Central Turbo, down in Miami. Everything was tasken care of ASAP. Reason it got messed up is I ordered a t3s60, and the guy sent a t3/54 60 trim. They replaced it right away and paid for all return shipping. The reason why the guy sent the hybrid was Garrett doesn't actually make a "super" 60, they are actually called a hi-performance 60 trim. Turbonetics is the only company who makes a "super" 60, it's there patented name. So Garrett makes the same turbo, just calls it hi-performance, im sure for legal reasons. People just call them super 60's, just easier and more commonly known so people know what they're talking about.
Now, for the price, I couldn't beat it: $590 shipped for a brand new turbo w/o internal gate, it's $630 + s/h for 1 with internal gate.

I got mine from down2turbo off of ebay. Very good turbo and best price around. Just do a community search for his name.

I'm assuming that's for a Garrett, right? Well I have Turbonetics T3 Super 60's and T3/T4 57/63 trim, stage 3 wheel turbos going for $675 each. The best thing about the Turbonetics products is that they come with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Shoot me an e-mail if interested. I also have specials on Garrett turbos, mainly T3's.

JDMspecialist (or something ilke that) sells good T3/T4 turbos, I got a nice twin ball bearing turbo (from Japan) under 300 shipped and got it in 5 days, looks super good, and is extra clean

Where/how did you get the one from japan?
Andreas turbo on ebay also. Except I have only good things to say about him. I personally caused the failure of my first turbo and he was good enough to still send me another. I would defiantely use him again and have recomended him to a few friends.
Another place I've heard good things about is blaastperformance.com, but I have no first hand experiance.

Sorry to drag this up but I am at the same spot. I've decided on a Super 60 for my setup and am having trouble. Andre's turbo still sells them but they dont sound so good. Down2turbo's listed turbos are actually T3 60-1 Not Super 60's he told me so....West Coast site is up and seems to work but thier main page still says they're closed. Anyone know anything about that, or know of another reputable source?
alrite, the turbos that down2turbo sells are like,,,, an upgrade(slightly larger) size than just the regular super 60. Regular is 42/48, he is selling the 60/48. If you go to westcoast turbo and look at the super 60's, you'll see you have the option for this sizing also and amoung other sizes to be fitted in.
I just received a 'super60' 60/48 complete t3 garret stamping on all sides from down2turbo and i'm satisfied with the service. Received in about 5 days. 375 shipped.
oh, and andres turbo and down2turbo is the same person. Look at the andres turbo webpage's e-mail adress, then go look at down2turbo's, it's the same e-mail. just to let you know.

excellent people to work with and are willing to give you any info you need about any turbo and or any tips they might have.....i would definatley buy another turbo from them....excellent service as well.. i seen my T3/TO4E in a week
