Ok im a little confused. Ive read the direction for the install online and the problem is that they use different switch in the directions so im not sure where to connect the wires. Below is a picture of the boost controller. It has a green wire that goes to a ground i believe and a violet which goes to the switch. Now the switch has the red cover and how only two prongs on the back. my question is, where do i hook the other prong up to? A ground? I would think it would be a 12V or an ON ACC because it doesnt need any power to power a light in the switch or am i wrong. My switch looks like the one in the other picture. Also the prongs on the back of the switch are not labeled either.

ok its easy. goes like this.

green wire to ground near controller.
voilet wire from controller to one of the switch poles. other pole to a ground near the switch.
Test. If it's on the high boost setting with the cover closed switch the pole connections.

Done.
