i am getting the j tuners kit for my '99 2200 automatic. i dont believe this kit comes with an FMU. i am curious what y'all did as far as fuel and timing. i am mechanically inclined, but new to boost, so i am going to start with 5psi and go from there. can you give me some examples of what you guys have done with this kit? (fuel, timing, intercooling)

Definately go with an intercooler and an FMU...bare minimum. Look into the Cartech 2025 for the FMU.
If you want to go any higher than 5psi, start looking into a megasquirt (MS) unit, which gives you full control of fuel, and timing if you want.
The JTuners 2200 kit is very nice, excellent manifold, and nicely matched turbo.
