i really want to t/c my sunfire, but it has 100k miles on it and i drive it every day. i ask you this, is it worth it? i was planning on buying the stage 1 kit on jtuners.com.

also if i did do it would i need to do anything to the engin before hand?

It depends on how much boost you want to run. If you only want to run 6-8 psi then the kit should come with everything you need, not exactally sure about that specific kit. But i dont see why you couldn't drive it daily boosted. Just remember it may take more then a weekend to install it and tune it properly. Don't rush that, if you do you could run too lean and then your really stuck. Good luck.

i drive mine every day its not broke down. If your tinkering with it i would definately recomend getting a 2nd car as a backup / daily beater.

a supercharger may be a better option

more reliable in general, and fine for daily driving

I've been blown for 40,000km (quick, someone do a conversion to miles for me...25,000 sound right?). Bolted it down at 98,500km and drive it daily.

Not a hiccup yet.
