help with bumper cover
Monday, March 20, 2006 7:38 PM
I FINALLY just finished installing my Hahn stage 2, but now one last problem remains. The bumper cover will not go on because the fog light surround hits the intercooler inlet/outlet pipes. Has anyone else encountered this who has a 2002 Cav? I'm not sure if 03+'s have this problem. I don't want to hack off the surrounds cause then I would lose my foglights and have nasty hole there. I don't know what else to do!??!

I had some sort of a problem with my Type-j front and the intercooler... But my problem was the intecooler brackets were bent making it stick out further than it was suppose to... So i just bent them till the bumper fit...

I had the issue too. I don't have foglights though so I hacked both sides. Now I gotta take a little off the bottom.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

I believe it is strictly the fog lights because they stick in so far. It wasn't mentioned in the installation book to hack your bumper apart!! Has anyone else with fogs figured this out?
