is at least 1/8" warped from end to end, my wideband and narrowband o2 sensors read half air, half stoich... pretty crazy
i dont want to go through the trouble of getting another manifold built, since i'm on a custom manifold i would need to play with turbo fitting and replacing the downpipe.
i'm thinking resurface, but i'm affraid it would be to thin, chances are i'll need to remove 30% to make it level. OR heres a question... can i cut the flange off the manifold and reweld a fresh flange on?

have it milled...
mine did that too when they welded the whole thing together and needed to have it milled even again

well my flage was I think 1/2 inch thick.. so that may be why I could have mine milled...

If you do have it lathed, brace the flange somehow...there will be alot of stress on it...
in 1/8" is not much. id use a thick header gasket and tighten the bolts a little tighter at the ends. cutting the flange off will cause a mess. you risk about a 1/4" of space gone from the tubing to the manifold and that can cause your downpipe to be alil off.
sounds like i'll go see if someone can mill it... any recommendations on where i can find a slightly thicker gasket? i'm going to seriously consider mounting my turbo with a bracket now.
thanks for the help

The eco turbo header we just made was 1/4 inch off on each side. We had it put on a 100 ton press and it straightened the flange out near perfect. 1/8 inch is alot and doubling up on the gaskets will not help you. It will just blow the gasket out.
