Any one know where to get a LD9 block?

Ok well for the boosted guys who have built up their engines... did you get a only block and get it machined and then build it up and then do the swap?

Because what i am looking for is a LD9 block and i am going to start building it all up as i have finally decided this car is getting built to the MAX! as i am pushing it almost to its limits now with the turbo and supercharger on their with about 12-13psi into the engine..like i am going for 22-25psi into the engine and just going basically full out on this car... to see if i can hit over 450hp on a street driven jbody... so let me know if you have one or know where i can get one.. i just need the block.. nothing else... and preferably one that wasn't blown or any thing... burning oil is fine though...

Josh, I have a 96 block at my house, I live in WI, USA tho. I'll hit u up on MSN sometime. You would have to do something with the knock sensor. You can drill out the threads and tap it for the 99+ knock sensor no problem, if I am thinking right, I always forget what year range the sensor was larger on.

I bought a complete engine from the yard, tore it down, collected ALL forged internals and valvetrain, now im dropping the motor off Monday to the machine shop..

Since you dont need a complete engine, hit up the yards for some blocks.. Have fun stipping it though.
