Well those are the pics of the intake manifold that will go on my car shortly. Before anyone says anything about a 2nd Gen DSM head flange. Yes, it is DSM flange.
Will it go on the LSJ head, it most deffinetely will, we matched the intake manni gasket today and it is dead on nuts with the DSM gasket, port spacing wise.
I am getting a CNC cut Aluminum flange for the LSJ head and it is fit the L61 as well.
TB is a 80mm, and it all is a Hogan ''''''''style'''''''' manifold. Some overseas company all I know shipping is pretty expensive.
TPS will be mounted on the TB and IAC won't be on the TB but made between the intake plenum and the charge pipe as a T.
We know all about it.
Some might say TB is too big, but in reality what is too big??
Also, there is a nice aluminum 3 inch cold pipe that will be mounted off it as well.
So short runners, Velocity stacks, nice plenum, and big ass TB, what more can we ask for?
This WILL be available through Gulfcoast Racing sold seperatelly or individually and only offered in 80 mm TB or a little smaller maybe 70 or so.
These style manifolds make nice HP in DSM's so lets see what it will do on a Ecotec. Keep posted guys.

gm sells intake flanges already done , not sure if it will work out cheaper than getting 1 custom made
nice thing about turbo's you can use small tb's and not hurt performance , since the boost is forcing the air through , the GM drag cars were using 75mm tb's over 1400hp
so you might wanna consider a 70mm tb or even a 75 mm
intake looks pretty sweet , and you better get some pics of it

They had this one sitting around and I was wondering so we'll mak it happen, TB might be a bit much?? You guys think. I have no choice but I think it will work out for the best.

See I don't think the TB will hurt me but I just won't get the full potential from it since I am not gonna be putting down like 1600 hp.
I say just try a 80 and see what it does on the dyno.

LSJ has a composite gasket that is how we did it.

wow, sweet, although for the record, thats more of a "Veilside-style" than "Hogan-style". Did you get any pics of lining up the gasket?
Sorry if i missed, it, but the flange that you're machining, is that to make an adapter to go between this mani and the head? You said the port spacing is dead on, so I'll assume the bolt pattern is different, so are you making an adapter or just sawing off the DSM flange and welding the eco one on? I'm guessing the latter would make more sense... that would be kickass.

You got me there on the styles Scarab, this is what I was told from a friend of mine.
As for cutting the flange off and putting an Eco one htere that is exactly what we are doing, no adapters.
Plus it gives a little extra lenght to the runners, plus you got to get some long studs/bolts.
We're simply gonna cut that one off and weld the other one on since those guys can TIG imaculate.

the 2.4 spacing is pretty close to the eco
and since the tb is already there might as well use it , i just wasnt sure if you were ordering each piece , or what was going on
only way your gonna know for sure if how its gonna act is to try it , then go from there and see what your car likes best , and what gets the most power and best rack times
hell karo made near 250whp with a 70 or 75 mm tb on his 2.4 , and it wasnt to bad to drive around town , lol
and no reason to flame , atleast yet , lol

If everything works out on my motor which it always does.
I am pretty damn sure I can find a LD9 around here, dime a dozen, and we can test fit it and sell you one, which ever way.
