Yes, i looked thru the FAQ and took this:
2.3 Injectors :
All are Low Impedance (2-6 Ohms)
2.3 LO --> 26Lb/Hr (273cc/min)
2.3 HO/W41 --> 32Lb/Hr (336cc/min)
2.4 Injectors:
-Mid 99 --> 24Lb/Hr (252cc/min) Low Impedance (2-6 Ohms)
Mid 99+--> 24Lb/Hr (252cc/min) High Impedance (10-15 Ohms)
SC Injectors --> 30Lb/Hr (315cc/min) High Impedance (10-15 Ohms)
So now, i'm helping a local bcj and he has a 99z. Without the hassle of taking out the injectors and testing them (i don't have a good ohm tester at home) how can we tell if they are hi or low? Would i be able to tell with his vin number? Do they injectors look different? Cause i know what my 2k+ hi ones look like.
Thanks
Nate

low impedance = fat
high impedance = skinny
Not sure how to tell outside of that.
15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?
C24..... didn't you do your own motor swap?
Not to sound like a prick but you've asked a LOT of questions in the last month.... 1/2 of the HPT I4 forums, the tuning forum, and a lot in the boost Forum. Not to question asking questions - it's a good thing.... I was just under the impression you knew more than this.
As mentioned. Skinny injectors with skinny connectors for high impedence, fat injectors with fat connectors for low. Also the high impedence injector harness cannot disconnect from the main harness whereas the low impedence injectors can.

Yup, ob1 to ob2 conversion, welding, turboed my old 2.2l setup, etc. everything all the time.
I know i've been asking a lot of questions and for a couple of reasons.
1- had surgery 2 weeks ago on my knee..so i have nothing better to do then sit on the cpu. Just been able to start walking ( hoble) around the last few days.
2- Just starting to get the hang of HPT..before it was really new and like all new stuff i like to ask a lot of questions.
3- about injectors- good to find out what works and what does before spending $
And i've never seen low impendance injectors from a j before. Never paid attention to them before as my previous motor as a 95.2.2.
But thanks for pointing that out in a non prick way
lol

Not trying to be a prick at all... just noted suddenly that you've picked up big on posts and questions. No harm in it I just assumed you knew more but pfft there's tons I don't know either....
Hope you're getting the answers you need.
