Hey Everyone,
I'm new here
I Have been looking everywhere for a turbo kit for my 2002 z24 2.4l but have unsuccessful.
Any help would be great!
Thanks
yea i can be of help. Make you own. See that was easy!! j/p. look into it thoug. save some money and learn a little more about what your doing.
I think its funny that they call the turbo a "super 60" and when you look at the picture they show a T3 .48 / .42 A/R 50 trim turbo. And what are they doing for fuel management. The Map sensor is still hooked up stock too. Ill bet if you bolt that kit on as is it wont work so good.

actaully the jtuners kit is a great kit from what i've heard. not many people if any will bash it at all. not alot of people have it though. they happen to have made 181whp out of a 2200 with like 8psi of boost also. which is pretty impressive.
look around this site, read the faqs and you'll learn what you need
my kit is nice, I built it myself... I recommend for some one looking for some cheaper power, either GM s/c kit ( new around 2k USD) and good for 200ish HP, or a jtuners kit, my 0.02... I am not to familar with premade kits though,
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
if you turbo the 2.4, I really recommend the 0.63 a/r exhaust,

can any car be turbo as long as u make the car handle it?
like could i buy all the parts and do it myself and still make it work or does it have to be a kit?
if i can then can someone help me with what i will need to get started?
Thanks
you need to start doing a LOT of reading, if you dont know that yes any motor can be turbo charged then you have a lot to learn, and they are not easy to put together, and its a difficult install
and a kit is just a bunch of parts that other people have put together so why would you putting together a bunch of parts be any different, as long as you get the right parts youll be fine
so start reading, i suggest starting with the faq at the top of this forum
best of luck and sorry if i was harsh
no worries
i did read the faq but i mean my moter is pretty tight so i didn't know if i would have room
and all those parts listed in the faq is that gonna be everyhing i need or will i have to make any mods to my moter...
i am gonna get a second vehicle to get me to work so i am gonna do it slow and i wanna put it all together myself...that way i know how it all works

Frankly, YOU cant. Read and read, come back in a year, then think about boosting. Dont take offense to that. But for the health of your motor, dont jump into boosting your car. Your knowledge is lacking quite a bit, and you need quite a bit of general knowledge inorder to pull something like this off.
