Is this a good turbo for a fully built 2.2L motor. I also will have nitrous with forged internals. Just trying to buy parts when i find a good deal. How does this turbo look.

Here is the link. I dont know anything about turbos and I want to build this motor under $5000.00 so I am trying to buy inexpensive stuff but not crap.

I wouldn't.

Those ebay turbos are usually trash, especially at that price. SSAutochrome for one is notorious for selling people turbos that blow in less than a week.

If it isn't a Garrett, AirResearch, Turbonetics, or any other name brand turbo, I would stay clear of it.

The super 60 is a plenty powerful turbo, and Andres Turbos has a good reputation for rebuilt turbos. Any decent turbo brand new should cost more than this.

Also I noticed that he gives discounts if there is a group by"the guy you listed that is" so maybe I will buy from him when more people I know need turbos. Thanks for the info.

The super 60 is a Garrett turbocharger. I'm not saying stay away from ebay... I am saying stay away from the turbos that aren't a name brand. There are plenty of companies selling good, brand new turbos on ebay, and you can tell, because they cost about $600+ and will say what brand of turbocharger it is.

if you have a 2.2 i would look at the t3 super60's from garrett they will match up to your engine nicely
