Hey I know this has been done before, but I want something a little more recent. What I am thinking about is, everyone with a boosted J, posts 1 or 2 pics of there setup, a couple words about it, maybe a dyno sheet/link to video, and some words of wisdom. to do with spark/fuel/tuning/suspension/clutchs/launching, etc etc.
I am interested in keeping no "pleasure posts" just 1 post per car that is boosted and after a while the number of posts will represent the number of boosted cars. I understand Nitrous is not NA, but lets not call it boost either, lol..
I am running a Garrett T3/T04B 0.63 turbine 0.60 a/r 50trim compressor with 229whp@5000rpm, then it misfires. here is a link to the video...

If I have anything to say about a turbo setup, it is make sure that you fuel pump can maintain pressure, and your injector duty cycle is below 85%.

First TEST DRIVE on boost, right click save as please This is untuned, part throttle, 6 month old 87 ocatne, no nitrous, with the cutout open, don't mind the missing body parts. This was just a short cruise aorund the block to check for any leaks or major problems.

if your going for stealth you CAN run charge pipes under a 2.4 with an AUTO if ya really try.

Research is key and even then, research again cuse something new happens every day. Also, GM kits were once the "dead horse" of boosted applications for j-bodies, not anymore thanks to HPTuners <- research a lot on this

The only thing i will say is do it right the first time.
I have had so many problems with this thing because i did the quick fix and did not do it right the first time..

Damn nide rides guys... Phatcav you definitely have a bad ass sedan. I've been looking into the differences between the turbo/supercharge setup.
I've already had a supercharged car (Thunderbird SC) so I may be looking at the turbo route.
