im jsut wondering what pressure the seals start to leak on the 2.4 rails. i had my car out today and started to rip around, she was pulling strong and then my afr went nuts, i started to smell gas so i pulled over and shut her off after popping the hood and seeing that the line going into the rail from the pump was pissing out fuel.
i got it towed home, took the lines apart and the o ring in there looked fine. so i cleaned up everythign from the inside, replaced the o ring with an identical one i had and fired it up, it was fie but if i jiggled it i would see little drops coming out. the line wasnt tightly seated so i added a second o ring and its now seated tight and seems to be fine, no leaks or anything. but im wondering what pressure these rails start to fail or leak at. i wasnt going over 65 psi for pressure and i know ive seen 75ish before.

its fine now, i seemed to have fixed it and i hammered the piss out of it tonite, 10 pounds of boost and all and nothing happened, lots of fuel pressure, it seemed fine and is still dry. knock on wood it was just a worn out o ring from 1997, lol

When I took my rail apart to tap it for the pressure gauge, the pressure line o-ring was hard as a rock. When I put it back together it leaked, so I just used the bottom o-ring off a spare fuel injector I had and it hasn't leaked since.
yeah thats where mine came from. lol.
