Hahn Portfueler

Basically, I know absolutely nothing about this except that it's "good" and "expensive".

I know it's a fuel management unit.

Is it tunable for different sized injectors?

Does it adjust fuel pressure for idle, wide open throttle, or both?

How does it know how much fuel to add? Throttle position vs rpm, vacuum and boost?

Does it require any map sensor readings, or would it work with a vacuum hose?

Most importantly: Will it fit onto a fuel rail with a supercharger in the way?

no it wont work with the S/C, but it is the best EIC setup I've ever seen. you get their IM and the injectors have ports in the intake runners. basically exactly how an EIC setup should be. it runs its own fuel comp that is fully tunable up to like 2.5 bar i think. totally shuts off at vaccum where stock injectors are used to maintain stock idle quality. very nice unit, but pricey.

Sven you totally quarterloafed your computer..

wouldn't it be more cost effective (well and just plain more effective) to go with HPtuners instead. figure with the additional sensors and the unit itself you're looking at around 7-800$. or am i off on this?

Plus laptop, right? barebones HPtuners is 500 + shipping. For boosted apps, I think you need pro for the interface to extra sensors, so 650+ shipping. Then the cost of at least a wideband. EGT and Oil pressure would be nice too. A NEW laptop is at least 400.

You're easily over 1g for an effective hptuners setup. Maybe you can squeak in under a grand for just the laptop and hp basic.

hahn's portfueler set up is also part of their eco intake set up , it adds 4 more injectors into their intake

on the eco s/c there is no room to add 4 injectors to the intake , atleast that i remember

it allows the car to run the stock injectors for off boost , then the 4 added injectors come on once you start into boost , the computer unit reads off a map sensor , and the mapping is base off of it
