so its been a while since the car went bang. so far its sat at a holiday in. towed to gm for a month. then towed to my tech school.
its sitting in the parking lot now just waiting. I have the vavle cover and intake manifold off. PS is out and all the lines are un hooked.
I need to know if there is anything to look for with pulling off the head.
I am pretty sure all I have to do is remove the chain and head bolts and the puppy will pull right out turbo and manifold alike.
am I miising anything.
and where in the hel did you find an alan wrench small enough to fit between the motor mount and the tensioner.

You have to cut down a regular allen wrench to get that plug out. It's actually in the gm build guide
