oh, and does anyone have any idea at about how much power i will be making i was thinking like 250 or so
I know you said you don't want to hear advice, but If you are opening up the motor and taking out the head, you should consider ARP head bolts or equivalent. Also...

Unless you mean that you are running an intercooler (which I don't believe is possible with the m45), I think you meant to say
before the blower.
But, yeah, that looks like a solid build to me.
well if you are hoping to make 250 plus HP open up that exhuast more
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
sorry i came off wrong. i jus meant i wasnt trying to ask you for your advice cause i didnt search myself. oh, and i meant im getting a custom intake after the blower is installed. as far as the head bolts, they are going on when the head gets ported along with a copper or steel gasket.
open the exhaust more? what would you suggest? 2.5 or better?
The Sc is not an M45.
The exhaust should be 2.5" if you want to make more power.

yes get head studs. I would add a copper head gasket, main studs, valve guides, and stainless valves to that as well, and also lighter pullies.
Forget the copper headgasket. Get a Cometic MLS and you'll be sset to go, plus you'll save yourself some money buy not having to get the block O-Ringed.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Header
2.5" header back exhaust
Larger fuel pump?
Keep in mind with the GM supercharger kit you won't be able to retune with HPtuners.
if you havn't purchased anything yet. You should know that for the $3500+install or so your paying for the gm kit you could have a hahn turbokit and get hptuners to custom tune it.
Especially considering that your going inside the engine. With forged internals I wouldn't even think of running anything less than a turbo because the power potential and efficiency is much higher.

Some people don't want all out power. I recommend the Sc kit for people that don't know much about boost. It's a great way to learn.

i want the supercharger because its self contained and doesnt require much maintaining. plus i dont have to be concerned with boost controllers. and because its from gm i can still say "everything under my hood comes from the factory" hahahaha
^^ always a good thing, plus it comes with warranty from factory.
With your list, a 2.5 exhaust would be a must in this case. You'll want that from the header back. Intake, definitely go custom cold air. Easy way, push the battery tray back and run it in front of the tray and right into the fender well.
You also want to get a full set of engine mounts and tranny mounts. Helps a lot and wont kill your wallet. Look for TTR mounts - very good.
The kit comes with everything you need. You can upgrade your heat exchanger to one from a Mustang Cobra - check out www.colbaltss.net for more info on this - its a good mod to do with you have the $$$.
Your header is good for this application, no worries there. Make sure you get a wideband 02 guage and or a scan guage to monitor everything. An EGT, oil pressure and boost guage are also needed - you always want to make sure nothing is going wrong in the engine at all times.
Also, if you go the port and polish route, get the blower done too. Search for stigmeister, very good shop for this. Some members have theirs done already by him and its a great port. For the head, get a nice mild port and polish, new values, springs, retainers, studs and gasket. You wont regret it.
Invest in the HPtuner system and hit a dyno as you tune it. You'll be amazed at what can be unlocked from the ecotec.
Also, check out and ask questions all the time. Many on here are great to help you out. One person to ask is Platcav as he has the same engine and the charger kit at just nailed down 248whp. Best reference for you to ask.
Good luck and you wont be disappointed in the kit.
