how much would it cost to build my 2200 up for boost. Just give me an estimate. and where do you guys get ur forged pistons and all that for cheap?

i would check matapart.com they seel prety much everything you need for a build up. or jbody performance , builds short blocks to your preference

My built 2200 with forged pistons, rods, ported head, stainless steel valves, machine work, etc.. was around $2400-2700.


275hp & 306tq - 1999 2.2 ohv
13.2 @ 108 mph
-1996 2.4 liter + Turbo + Built motor + Torco + More boost = Lots o' Power
-2000 Mustang GT + 2004 Cobra motor, Whipple 2.3 supercharger,
built rear-end,Dodge Viper spec T56 6 speed, bolt-ons = wheelies at the track!!!!!

hey adler do u mind tellin me what size turbo, and psi u had on ur 2200. cause im pushing 15 psi on a standard t3 and i kno im not makeing 275 like urs. and u had a tubular manifold right.

^^^ Those Wiseco pistons for the 2200...was there a horsepower rating on those puppies? In my application, they'll be looking at 8psi + a 75-100 shot of nitrous

I had a T3/T4 60 trim. Yes, I was using a tubular manifold.

The manifold was sold with the entire turbo kit a few months ago.
