Like the title says. Is it a T3 flange or what?

WTF is T2? Would that be T25, T28? Isn't that the same as a MItsubishi 14B?

Okay, so I need to make sure I'm perfectly clear on this. Is the T2 flange entirely different than a T25 flange? IT's a 4-bolt, and looks like a T25 flange, but I don't know if the dimensions are the same. Like how the T3 flange is a different size than the T25. I'm working on a little side project and I need t omake sure I have all the right info.

T25 / T28 use the same exhaust turbine. T28 has a T3 compressor.

I've seen plenty of reference to the Sunbird turbo as a T2. AFAIK it's a T25. The specs I've seen for a T2 show that it's a smaller turbo.

I'll be using a T28 BB turbo from a Nissan on my next 2.2 engine. It's sitting in a box in the barn right now. The T28 is a bit small, but this isn't supposed to be the big HP car of the bunch.

If I were building for more hp, I'd look for a T3 from a Merkur XRTI / Mustang SVO (cheap, from a junkyard) or I'd start with those specs and find something better through a rebuilder.

Oh, don't worry Slow, this has nothing to do with my car, or any J-body. Actually, it has nothing to do with a car at all. A friend of ours wants to do a turbo on his bike, and it's such a small turbo I thought it'd be perfect. As if his bike isn't fast enough already, but whatever. Not my bike, not my money, not my skull crashing into the pavement.

Actually for my car I'm going to be running a 14B or a basic T3, maybe T25/T28. Same reasons, I'm not going for huge power. Besides, I already have a 14B in my garage that came off one of our VR4s and a flange to mount it on the RMT setup I've been working on. But if I can't find the oil pump I need I'll be going T3 or T25 and running a good ole log manifold instead. I tried to find a log manifold to mount my 14B but I couldn't find one.

lol.

Well, who could have guessed? You''ve been asking a few Q's about getting your car ready, so it just seemed like that.

I'm no fan of bikes, but I'd love to ride a turbo bike, just once. Ok, probably more than once after the first time.

I see sleds with 200 hp, and more in magazines. Dayam!

If I could find a small enough hairdryer I'd turbocharge my 18 horse Bolens lawn tractor.

JY turbo forum on Yahoo has a ton of stuff like this. Some of those guys are just plain crazy.

Yeah I could see how one might be thinking that's what I'm putting on my car. I thought about it, but it'd be almost pointless. I don't want or need a big turbo, but uh, yeah, I have my standards lol.
