oil seal blown?

Just wanted to know if my oil seal on my turbo is blown. I started up the car after installing all the oil lines to see if there were any leaks. No leaks except there is oil coming out of the backside of the turbo, were the downpipe would be. Im pretty pissed off being its a brand new turbo, but my boy told me you have to crank the car a few times before starting it which I did so I was wondering if same @!#$ happened to anyone else.
The turbo is a precision t3/4 51 trim 63 rear

Did you ever find out if thats what it was? My new turbo is leaking oil from the D/p flange too and I really hope I didn't buy a turbo with crappy seals already.

is too much oil being dumped into the turbo?

I want to share something with you - the three sentences that will get you through life. Number one, 'cover for me', Number two, 'oh, good idea, boss', Number three, 'it was like that when I got here.'
