i am hearing 1600 and 2400 i am looking for the m62. i called my local dealer and theyre telling me dealer cost is like 2379 so where are people getting 1600. because id pay that in a heart beat

to get it for 1600, you need to work for gm. not a dealer but actual GM or a family member who works there.
so your best bet is to get in contact with somone who can get it for that price, get under the table and let them buy it.
