just tonight my car seemed sluggish and then all of a sudden it started to break up and white smoke poured out the exhuast. Now at this point it started to miss and the check engine started to blink and i noticed i have no fuel pressure. When i taped the gas the needle stayed at 40 psl. Now my car sounds like a subaru boxer motor
but yea does anyone no what might of happened?
possible coil pack issue, wouldnt explain the fuel pressure issue though

What do your plugs look like? How many psi of boost?

Check the oil, if it looks milky sounds like a head gasket due to the white exhaust smoke.
If you are running an FMU, sometimes debris can get in it and cause it to not work correctly anymore. If your FMU crapped out (pressure not going past 40) then it would send you lean and blow your headgasket, explaining the white smoke and blinking CEL (multiple misfire) caused by coolant filling the gap of the plugs which means no spark. The misfire would also explain the stumbling. The loss of fuel pressure would also explain why it was at first sluggish.
Were you monitoring your A/F or fuel pressure while it was sluggish and before it started stumbling/smoking? Can you still build boost?

well it will build boost but it just leans itself out since there isnt any fuel pressure. The thing with the a/f is i just put a resonator on my exhaust and never recalibrated my wideband so i wasnt sure what it was at....
so it sounds like a head gasket and my fmu crappin out?
check the fpr, pull the vacuum line off check for wetness?
i just went out and looked at her and there is mad oil all over the breather and around the motor, and my fuel pump isnt whining like it usually does, its more of a deep whine that lasts for a good 10 seconds if u guys understand what i mean.....im just stuck down here at school with finals monday and tuesday
All over the breather? Uh oh.
That would indicate a bottom end problem. Though from your first description I'd say headgasket... but.. this isn't good. Have you pulled your plugs to see how they look?

yea i havnt had a chance today with school and such but my dad said it sounds like what happened when the coil went but wont explain the fuel pressure...he is bringing down a new coil and we will see whats up i hope i can get this fixed cause once i fix it. its being sold.....
now i tried putting a new ignition thing on and it didnt work.....smoke seems to be pouring out the breather.....white smoke....
does anyone know what this could be
it could still be a blown headgasket. Just look at your dipstick. Hit me up on AIM dude.

sounds like the fuel pump is not keeping up an or has failed an leaned the car out an you popped the head gasket.
thats what i was thinking quick 2.4
when you have smoke coming out of the breather it mean you have compression in oil! when i made a hole in a piston it does the same thing! sound like a subaru boxxer and lot of smoke comming from the breather
damn i think you blown your engine! have you took off your plugs?? any oil on them???

you can still be blowing out the breather with just a blown headgasket. Have you checked the oil for coolant contamination yet?
How much you want for the car if the motor is gone?
