okay i have already done the swap on my 98 cavy, from the 2.2l ohv to the 2.2l ohc and i have already got most of the bolt on's (throttle body, fuel rail, etc.) and i posted before that i have $1500 to get anything else. well i got a loan out and i thought while my cylinder head is in the shop getting pnp'd i would buy a turbo kit! now i have $3000 and i was trying to find a good kit but someone told me that hahn racecraft is the only company making one that will dish out wat i want. if i do get it where is the best place to buy valvetrain setup and rotating assembly mods to help make my car come alive? and will the parts be very expensive? any answers will be very appreciated!! thanks
hondas are like tampons.....every pu$$y needs one...

thats for the hahn kit.
Some other ppl have been running some parts from the turbo saabs and doing pretty well. Cadwz24(Projected1) built a pretty awesome set up and it was REALLY cost effective.I'd look into that as well.
Hahn turbo systems seem to be the best bang for your buck, but I've also heard that turbonetics either is or has developed similar if not superior turbo systems. I've checked the hahn website for details on the price but haven't seen anything yet. I do know that if u purchase a hahn turbo system u should check out their performance feul rail.

1) Turbonetics has not and will not make a kit for the Cavalier as far as my sources say. They just don't see the ROI in them.
2) The HRC goes from 3395-3895 depending on the time of year and what sales they got going. Let me know if you want one and I'll get you a price.
3) HRC does not make a "performance fuel rail." They make a complete standalone boost referenced fuel system called the PortFueler. Much more than a fuel rail.
For the Original Poster:
If you want a nice head setup I have to suggest the Patriot Perfeormance Stage 2 head. There's at least 5 people on here that have them, including 2 of the top 3 N/A Ecos, Me (#3 F/I Eco), and someone else going for the F/I list next year. There's also the weird black man formerly known as NJHK. He had it on his Sunfire.
I look to be selling a few more in the next few weeks too so let me know if you want them. Better to have them make them all at once.

I want to build my cavalier for street and strip use. I would like to go turbo but HRC turbos are for manual cars only. I thought maybe i'd found the soulution to that with the 4t65e transmission that I read about in my ecotec build book. what would you suggest is the best step forward? p.s. thanks for clarifying the rumor of the turbo kit from turbonetics.

When you fit a 4T65 into our engine bay I'll sell you that kit. That trans ain't gonna fit.

I'm sure that I'm off on the name of the transmission, but my build book has a tranny with an adapter plate for a street strip application. I'm not sure if your familiar with the build book or not but its in there. I i'll look up the transmission to make sure I mentioned the right one. If it still won't fit, then tell me what would you suggest.
