Merry x-mas everybody. Just wondering if anybody has any information on J tuners. I placed a deposit in September for an intercooler and turbo kit. Recently the money was refunded to my credit card. I am aware of all there policies, but nobody has contacted me and I get no response from email or phone. Does anybody know if there down for good? Thanks

I have sent them a total of 5-7 emails in regards to getting a turbo manifold for my 2200 and have yet to hear from them......as a result i cut off all the primaries off my old pacesetter header and most likely be getting my manifold made by some one locally....i wanted their header bad....oh well things move on...

They said they were cutting down production...but it seems like more of a halt on business in general...oh well hopefully someone else will step up cough"Turbo Tech cough Racing cough"........

hey guys,

i did place an order with them before they went on vacation and it did take some time to recieve it but i DID finally recieve it. i have also tried to contact them numerous times after they had left for vacation but i have gotten no response. its a shame that they have not come back into the scene. i love my turbo manifold from them along with the cometic head gasket and the t-shirts are freakin sweet. good luck guys, keep trying thats all you can do. ive been in your shoes before when i never recieved a 400 dollar fidanza flywheel that i was billed for. good luck!!!!!

If it's a Cometic you want I sell their entire line. I see one listed for the 2.2L TK4 and I'm assuming that's the 2200 since it's with the LD9 and L61 listings. I can sell it for 79.99.

they've probably gone under... i exchanged a few emails with them in the past over their turbo manifold and it seemed like the situation was becoming dire.... it really does suck, but at least unlike other companies that went off the map, the people with orders pending have been getting their money back instead of the shaft.....

A-@!#$IN'-MEN! That's good business right there. If I didn't have a business of my own that's the kind of @!#$ that would get me to buy from them if they ever came back or started a new shop.

July 22nd 2006 - Important Announcement
We regret to inform you that JTuners is temporarily suspending most of our operations, as you know them today, until we secure a more reliable manufacturer of our highly customized piping to meet our quality and delivery standards. We simply lack the capital to invest in the type of equipment and labor necessary to produce these items in-house.
During this (hopefully temporary) suspension, we must scale back to operating on a very part-time basis. Thus, effective immediately, we will no longer offer the entire variety of J-Body performance parts we’ve carried in the past, instead focusing exclusively on the unique products we offer. We encourage you to shop for the other products with our good friend, Karo, at CarCustoms.net and will make it easy to do so through our web site.

We will continue to offer our 2.2L/2200 OHV and 2.4L DOHC turbo kits, as well as the SplitSec tuning solution, Yank converters and Patriot heads - however only under the revised terms and conditions. We realize these terms may not be satisfactory to many would-be customers, but we refuse to make promises we cannot fulfill. We will also continue development of the Ecotec kit currently in progress, but have no estimated release date at this time.

With regards to contacting us from this point forward. We can ONLY return calls 888-JTUNERS (588-6377) or respond to emails pertaining to JTuners turbo kits, Yank torque converters, SplitSec fuel/timing calibrators, Patriot heads or pending orders. We will no longer be able to advise on rebuilding engines or the merits, performance or specifications of products other than the above. We’re very sorry, but we simply will not have the ability to do so operating in a very part-time manner – and PLEASE be patient with us as it may still take a few days to respond. Emails are easiest for us to respond to by the way and you’ll get faster responses via emails than phone calls.

We deeply regret having to take this action, as we’ve truly enjoyed serving the J-Body community exclusively and wish to thank all our customers and assure them we’re still around for questions and/or advice (although it may take us a few days longer to respond to calls or emails).

We take great pride in the quality of our products and the way we’ve treated our turbo customers. Many of you know we lacked a lot in terms of timely returns of calls and emails and we simply do no want to tarnish an otherwise good reputation with poor customer service. Yet, it has proven too difficult for a small manufacturer, serving a relatively small niche market to do so on a full time basis. We’ll continue offering only the highest quality 2.2L/2200 OHV and 2.4L DOHC turbo kits at a reasonable price, but that means a very slim profit margin, making it hard to run the business full-time or to survive as a company without a dependable source of quality custom piping.

Also, please keep an eye on this site as we will soon be offering for sale many items from our inventory of other parts under a “Specials” section.

Thanks for your support these past couple of years. We hope to continue serving you again in the near future by coming back stronger than ever and with a wider variety of products in the very near future! - Leo
