Ecotec Saab Kit
Monday, January 01, 2007 6:55 PM
Hey guys, I'm starting to piece together a turbo kit based off of Chad's and the Saab stuff. Looking around and searching for the TD04 turbo that bolts to the Saab manifold I noticed that it looks like the stock Saab turbo and the stock WRX TD04 turbo has the same flange on it. Does anyone know if there are any other turbos that bolt onto this flange?

the WRX has a similar flange but its not have the same flange. I think the dodge stealth and 3kgt TT has the same flange as the saab...but they would be far to small.

go to car-parts.com and search for supercharger/turbocharger for a 2003-2006 Saab 93, B207R Eng (high pressure)

same thing for the manifold 2003-2006 Saab 93 w/air injection

thanks again, how many miles do you have on the engine w/ the turbo kit and is everything still running strong? I've got 88k on my eco motor and by the time i have all of this to install it might be closer to 95k and im kinda worried.

I used the stock bypass on my setup as it was simply to much work to block off. You won't be sorry though, it sounds @!#$IN amazing. I always get people coming up to my car wondering what BOV i'm using. If I get some time maybe I'll post a sound clip.

BTW My car was boosted at 90,000km @ 6psi. I have just recently hit the 130,000km mark and have increased boost to 11psi. It runs just as it did before the turbo. A good tune is all thats required to make it go on strong.

ive had mine for about 5k miles/ 9 months no problems.

Contact brandoson for a nice downpipe and charge pipes.
he might even have a turbo setup sitting around for sale

chad i know your using the gm reflash w/ your kit, what are you others using? GM Reflash or HpT? The only reason I ask is because I started to buy parts and I wanna get the reflash but its going to be a pain because the dealer wont do it unless you have the s/c kit.

Look into turbo upgrades for the Mitsubishi 3000GT.

If you have the right hook up the reflash is free, but GM doesnt like being told that another dealer didnt do th reflash right so they need to give the VCI # to your dealer for free.
