well im buying my 450cc DSM injectors soon and i have some questions about doing this mod.
Does it matter if they are high or low since im 99+
When wiring in the ford injector harness do i just match the wire colors up for each injector or what?
They are the same length correct?

Injectors are just resistors, it doesn't matter how the wires are spliced, but if it makes you sleep better at night, match the colors.

I might just be talking out of my ass, but I thought I remember hearing that the DSM's are shorter than Ford injectors...maybe it was the srt-4 injectors that I heard are shorter...????

dsm injectors are low impedance btw just in case you didnt know.

99 had both style injectors. It's easy to know witch one you have tough, Long and thin : High, Short and fat : low.

low impedance injectors can be used but it requires the splicing in of the low imp. style injector clips.

Not quite true. My 30lb red tops are high impedance and the 36lb brown tops I just picked up are low impedance. The injector bodies are identical....at least mine are

He was refering to stock 2.4L injectors. The high impedence LD9 injectors are long and skinny as Gilles said.
