Tonight i finished ordering all of my parts... So heres the buildup:
Eagle Rods
8.9:1 Wiseco Pistons .020 over
New OEM bearings/seals
Block bored .020 over
Ferrea Springs w/ titanium retainers and the extra spring seat locators
Ferrea Valves stock size
Comp Cams Stage 3 cams
Cometic Head gasket
ARP head Studs
And the last thing i ordered.... Yup, HPtuners. I didnt get the upgrade package since my UEGO doesnt have an output, and if needed ill just upgrade it later
Talking to Aaron got me all excited inside... Just thinking about the capability to reach beyond 8,500RPMS makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
And im keeping the Vortech Supercharger on now too... beeing i could now shift a good 2,000-2,500 RPMS higher i should be able to get at least 10PSI out of it.
I honestly dont know what to expect as far as HP numbers with the vortech on there.... Im hoping ill be suprised though. As soon as i get a better paying job and pay my mom off ill be switching to a turbo, but i think i should be very happy with the power i get for now

I would also like to thank Aaron from TTR for his quick responses to e-mails, im used to sending an e-mail... waiting a day for a response, and one time back and forth. But with him i could ask a question and within 30 minutes he would have responded. He really is a great guy to deal with

And why did you go with lower comp pistons if your keeping the vortec unit?!
The plan is to only keep the vortech unit i pay off the debt this motor has set me into lol.
Plus im only EXPECTING 10psi out of it, but since its a ratio system (builds more boost faster as the rpm increases) i COULD possibly see 10+ PSI

Also i meant to add, SPEC makes a GREAT CLUTCH! I had my suspicions that it would need replacing, but upon removal i found it has JUST AS MUCH meat on it as the day i put her in. I was very impressed.
But i gues thats what i get when running it at less than 50% of its potential lol.

Yes I would get the upgrade. It is only 150 extra now, but will be $289 later.

Glad to hear you are having good luck with SPEC. I can't say the same...I doubt I would ever buy their product again.
And yes, definitely go with the upgraded version of HPTuners. Lot's more features to help with tuning. It would be dumb not to go with the Pro version. I've got the UEGO, and I know it has an output.
