Coolant leak in block?

hey guys o4blackfire made a post and in it someone said he was leaking coolant inside his block i didnt even realise that could happen. So where should you look for the leaks and what can you tell me about them other than my engine wont last long with a leak? I didnt want to thread jack more than i was already doing so......

your block has just as much oil in it as coolant. The coolant is in all the areas around yout piston bores.

His leak coul have been from a bad head gasket seal, a cracked head, or worse case his block is cracked, or its leaking threw the cylinder liner.

If you wanna check just look take you valve cover off and look for the "milkshake" looking material as seen in the pics.

or just check yout dip stick.(not as conclusive but it works.)

yeah what snowman said

looking at that cam cover , you dont get that much water/coolant , inside the motor with out knowing it

Ok thanks guys.

I saw some yellow stuff in my case breather so im worried im going to take my cover off shortly to see if i have a problem.
