im running an AEM universal ems on my 96 2.4 however, they dont sell a plug and play harness for j's so you would have to wire the entire thing in. you also have to add a few other things such as a crank trigger wheel, and msd sells a distributor conversion kit for the eco. i had to use msd blaster ss coils on my 2.4. any questions let me know
you wont be able to go much further on a stock motor. unless if a motor build is on your list then blow it see how far you can get.
I want to share something with you - the three sentences that will get you through life. Number one, 'cover for me', Number two, 'oh, good idea, boss', Number three, 'it was like that when I got here.'
I'm running a Holley Commander 950.
If you convert to coilpacks from a 93 or 94 2.2L, you can use that.
No problems at all, runs pretty smoothly. User Friendly operation too

x2
300 can be believable, 450 not a chance on a stock motor
R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten
