Those of you who know what you are doing mechanically and have hands on experience, can you tell me if this kit is worth while? I am mechanically retarded and do not understand anything I read on turbos.

There is no way I can afford a Hahn kit at regular price, so I'm trying to find a complete kit at a reasonable price.

First of all, It doesn't come with the exhaust manifold. So you would need one that accepts that turbo and that wastegate.
Second, you would have to fabricate all the charge pipes up and make a downpipe.
Injectors, fuel management, intake? All things you will need.
That's far from a "complete kit". EBay is not where you should be looking for turbo stuff...

When it comes to turbo kits you get exactly what you pay for.
The turbo included in the kit is shady at best, buying one that says "Garrett" "aiResearch" "turbonetics" etc is the way to go.
Things not included in this kit:
exhaust manifold (185)
fuel injectors (200)
fuel management (150-650+)begi 2025, or hptuners.com PRO respectively, or more for complete stand alone
downpipe (200)
wideband for tuning (200-400)
boost gauge(50-100)
oil pan modification to allow oil return (50-100)
custom cutting of intercooler pipes and buying extra parts (200)
It looks like you have some good money into your car, and to compliment that a quality kit with reliablity is a must. Spending a little extra on a kit that is designed by someone "qualified" will cost a little more, but you will get a nice fitting kit, that installs and all bolts line up. Check the classifieds, sometimes there are some nice full kits, that have been installed for a really good price, and a quick check of the turbo and the kits are ready to be installed and ready to go.
