ECOTEC S/C REFLASH

Okay will it hurt any thing if i start my car and load it up onto the car trail to take to the dealship to get the reflash.i just dont want to start it and something happend because i dont have the reflash with the S/C

No, it'll be fine. It'll run like @!#$, but it'll get you up on the trailer and no damage will be done.

Yea dont worry. Retard at my dealer reved my car like 20 times before the reflash was downloaded to the ecu. Did not break anything

The worst that will happen is it may load up the sparkplugs a bit and perhaps get a tad of raw fuel in the oil. The larger injectors are the cause...with the stock programming, they will inject more fuel than the engine is looking for.

In a perfect world, you'd put fresh plugs in and change the oil/filter once the reflash is complete. If you've already done these items, just run it for as short a time as possible, and you should be OK.

a friend and 1 actually drove 2 cars to the dealer , about 10 miles or so , to get the reflash done

so youll be ok , just dont get on it hard , and dont stand behind the car , the smell get kinda rotten

about the wireing did you guy or girls do the connector change before you drove it there? if so i thoght it wouldnt run without the MAP sensor?Im also worried about damaging the terminals on the MAP connector what the best way to do this?well thanks for any help

wire up everything but do not plug in the new map sensor. the car will run rediculously rich, like 10:1. it will be driveable just don't get into boost. once they reflash it, then plug in the map sensor. everything should be good to go after that.

hey guys i got a quick ?. i got the rsm kit on my car, im puttin new injectors in in a couple of weeks, will the gm reflash work with my car?

it wont run with the map sensor connected if its not calibrated. u can drive it witout the sensor connected and you will be ok. just dont hit boost. i drove my car about 30 miles to get it done.
