our stock sensors are 1 bar right. so does that mean they can read 1bar or just up to atmospheric pressure. i need to kno cause im not sure if i need a 2 or 3 bar map sensor for when i get hptuners. i will be planing on pushing 20psi. if im thinking correctly then the 3 bar is what i need.

2.5 bar up to 22psi of boost
3 bar up to 29.4 psi of boost

can u even use a 2 bar on an older 98z24?

like say i wanted to get a 2 bar from the gmsc kit for the 2.4... would it work on my non 00+ cav?

you can't use a 2bar anyways... unless it's the 2.4 or 2.2eco with reflash. if you want to use different map sensors. you need a full standalone. piggy-back's don't even work really.
but if you have/or know somebody that has HPtuners, you just fake it.(faking it is still very good)
