hey guys a while back i bought a brand new tial wastegate looking at it i noticed the plate or watever that opens to let the excess pressure out isnt closed all the way, its open like half of a half a half a centimeter, is it suppposed to be closed all the way? just wondering it has a 0.5 bar spring like for six psi, thanks

well it says tial on it and it came in the garrett box or watever and the seller only carries name brand products like garrett and all that so it doesnt look like any of the fake ones, ill get pics though in a day or two so yall can see them

once that ring is in there there shouldnt be any open space but with out it youll have a gap like what your explaining

im going home for the weekend ill chekc it out but right off the top of my head i dont think so, were can i get one? all that came with mine was some card saying the wastegate is only for unleaded gas and two washers two gaskets two of those fitting thingys and two screws, can i order one? thanks boosted ill check it out
it doesn't matter if it says TiAL on it, if you bought it off ebay for a lot less than typical price, and didn't buy it used, it isn't real.
quality is questionable since it isn't a reputable company and basically a knock off product made by some taiwan company.

call the company up that you bought it from about the ring.

I got mine off Ebay for about $225. Has the ring and from what I remember it is a seperate piece. May have fallen out at some point. Contact the seller and if they cant help contact TiAL.
