Hey guys I'm looking for options for relocating the overflow (coolant) tank. Does anyone have any pictures or info for doing this? I'm trying to find a new tank that I can put in between the motor mount and the headlight area kind of like Sweetness/Sunfighter GT's setup.
Anyone have any suggestions? I saw the grand prix one:
But it doesn't look very good to me, would have to extend too many lines.
Thanks for any help

make some measurements and talk to a shop and get a sheetmetal box made with the nipples and such on it for the lines
Paco Loco had a sweet setup on his old cav.. *I believe that was him*

I am doing a turbo eco swap right now for someone. I relocated the stock bottle to where the battery was. He has 2 batteries in his trunk, so that wasnt an issue.
that grand prix bottle is just a over flow bottle , so it wont hold pressure , and only has 1 hose fitting
plus its like 16" tall
I'm kinda nervous to make a tank for myself, because there is a sensor in the bottom of the stock one, probably to check the level. I've looked everywhere for places to put the stock one, but can't figure it out...
Are there any other GM's that might fit? The impala is just a bottle, the aveo looks a bit on the big size, malibu looks big.
I was looking at the Saab 9-3 and it looks pretty small actually, as does the mazda RX-8.

i always pondered the thought of a jug out of a saturn 95-99 it more square but definatley not as long as the ones we have
Go to a scrape yard and pick up the coolant just from a cobalt. It is much smaller and should fit nicely. That is what I am running this year due to space concerns.

Thanks Raven. I was at the junkyard yesterday and picked up a coolant reservoir from a Saab 9-3. I thought about the cobalt, and also the Saturn Ion-3, so I will go check those out too before I get too deep into fitting this Saab one in.
