i purchased a cometic head gasket for my eco and its been around 2-3 months and its taken a @!#$ on me at only 13-15psi, im know just finding out there garbage...
my question is wouls i be better off with a stock L61 gasket or an LSJ one???? prolly the lsj correct

did you use ARP studs??? the gasket should never blow out. did you reuse your head studs when you installed the gasket??

No i did not reuse my head bolts..but yes i used arp head studs..

how did you clean you head to prep it to install the new gasket??

the block was decked and the head was machined and P&P'd and was flowbenced..they said that the gaskey had a distirtion in it???wtf

The MLS gaskets all require a specific rms surface finish on the head and the block in order to seal properly, I believe it 60rms or 30 rms or better I forget. I have them in my supercharged 383 and they work great and I plan on using one on my current turbo buildup.
