The only way that wastegate would hit the hood, is if the strut bar stuck through it. This is the same way I had my ebay one setup, only this one is much, much better quality.

Ok so I lied it was more like a half hour, but who's keeping track.

Air Forced 4 (Formely Chill Factory) and it goes for about $425 without the wastegate flange. Not sure with, my price was slightly lower considering Vic and I do a lot of business together.

We actually have to make one of these soon for a customer with a 2.3 H.O. Seeing this thread really put into perspective how easy it's gonna be. 425 seems a bit high, though; it's really a very basic design.

$425 is quite high for a basic log manifold with an external flange... I mean, the welds look good and I don't question the quality, but I've seen equal length setups made by small, hole-in-the-wall shops for about $550 bones. And anyone who has seen me post before knows that i'm normally the LAST person to call someone out on pricing.

Hey can you post some more pics of your setup? Like close ups around the turbo, and how you routed your pipes? Just curious to see how you did it as it's similar to mine. And yeah that manifold would be super nice, im using an ebay one, what a nightmare!

anything above $300 for a log is crazy talk

Blew it up, build numbers coming soon

More pics as you requested. Be aware they're not pretty.

I think you can get the general idea from these pics, the piping is 2.25" to 2.5" on the "in" side and 3" on the "out" side. I would have ran 2.5 all the way on the "in" side of the intercooler, but it wouldn't fit.

manifold looks nice. glad i saw this thread. i was just about to purchase an ebay manifold myself, as i can't find any more reasonably priced log manifolds. but i'll keep looking.

does seem odd that the wastegate sits so high....... I guess as long as it fits and works (and from the pics, it seems it does just fine) there's nothing wrong with it.

Price does seem alittle high, but I'm not in the market for an Eco manifold.

The wastegate sitting that high is all me. I couldn't really see anywhere else to put it and keep everything accesiable. As for the intake mani. Not exactly sure what a screw scroll-style intake mani is, but what else do you guys want to know? The intake mani is based off of the GM performance manifold. At this time there is no adapter to accept a stock throttle body, but it is setup for a 75mm, or whatever LS1 t.b. you want to put on there, but it comes with a 75. Not exactly sure on the price. I've had mine for about 5 months now. I believe he's got a different design to them now. I can see about getting some pics of that, and getting a price. And here's another pic of the mani.

Keep in mind this was the first one, there are a few unneccesary welds around the t.b. flange, only because we were working on getting the angle right.

ah nvm, the one angle made it look like it was a scroll manifold (not sure if this is the proper term, but its what i've heard them referred to as in the past). A scroll manifold is essentially a dual-plenum manifold, where the throttlebody attaches to a long cone-shaped plenum that has a slit on the inside edge which leads into the second plenum, then into the runners. These are found on a lot of WRC cars and companies like Dahlback have made them for VW's in the past. The whole idea is to distribute the airflow of a turbocharged engine as evenly as possible to every cylinder. But anyway bro, good luck with the rest of your modding
