Im not sure to post this here or on the exterior forum.
But my questions are.
Will the stock srt-4 intercooler fit on a J?
Is it good enough to use for around 7psi MAX?
specs that I can get are: 24.5" Wx 5.75" tall x 2.75" thick
thanks!
You should have no problems mounting the intercooler. As far as the 7psi it will suit your needs. A stock srt-4 runs about 14psi if I recall correctly.

i think i saw one for sale in the classifieds for $70. An intercooler is an intercooler. A stock SRT 4 should do fine, not to big, not to small
Just take a look at the endtanks before you buy it. That was the reason for me not purchasing one for my turbo build.
^Care to elaborate? What kept you from getting one? and what am i looking for with the endtanks?
I did see the one on the classifieds, which is what im hoping to be able to get. Havent gotten a reply but waiting patiently.
thanks for the help!
I think what he is referring to is the end tanks on the srt-4 intercooler are curved to fit the shape of the srt-4 front end rather than straight like typical intercoolers you may purchase.

all you will need to do is cut off the end tanks that point in toward the motor and then mod the end tanks so that they go out the side

Plus if I remember correctly one of the endtakins is oval shaped too....but it's been a good 3-4 onths since I looked at one. But if your willing to make it work and the price is dirt cheap go for it, That was just my opinion.
Just waiting on a reply with some pictures, I can have my dad modify it. Waiting Patiently
haha
they turn into the radiator they don't go out the end so if it clears the radiator your going to have t cut the @!#$ out of something for it to fit
